My business is home-based. Do I have to include a phone number and address?
Nope! Instead of a full address, you can include just a city and state, indicate “nationwide” or “worldwide” or leave it blank. We also do not need a phone number. We do, however, recommend having some way of contacting you in the media contact below the article so instead of a phone number we can include an email address.

Can I see / edit the Press Release before it goes out?
Yes, you must approve it before it goes to distribution. You will be able to see it / edit it / request changes.

Can you fulfill orders for gray niche topics?
Yes we can. However, if you submit an order that has a gray niche topic, there’s a chance you could get fewer placements. It will still meet the 300 placement minimum but it could be less than a non-gray niche order.

I’ve gotten my completed order report back for my Press Release. Why are there financial or agricultural site links?
These types of sites are news wires that our team uses to effectively distribute Press Releases. This is normal, as these are news outlets with these terms in their domain. What is the turnaround time?

Can I use the ABC, NBC, etc. logos on my website?
Yes, you can after your Press Release has been completed. You are welcome to put the logo/s on your site, but we are unable to guarantee that your PR is published on each network associated with each logo due to fluctuations in publisher availability within our inventory.

Can we include additional photos besides the logo in the release?
You sure can! We recommend including only one additional photo that represents the overall message of the release. If you would like to include a photo, we will need an image URL. Please email support@thehoth.com the image URL with your order number and where you would like the photo within the release and we’ll be sure to incorporate it for you.

What happens if my link goes down?
We’ll gladly replace any links that go down within a year of the order being completed.

Can I request edits for Press Release orders that have already been completed?
Edits CANNOT be made after an order is completed since the content is required to be reviewed and approved during the order production process.
